North Africa

The North Africa Programme aims to contribute to the democratic transition and to the reduction of polarisation of the social fabric; with an emphasis on youth and women in Morocco. In Tunisia the projects are designed to contribute to citizen participation and inclusive political participation, which would support efforts for the prevention of violent extremism and a larger youth civic engagement.

The programme's main objective in Tunisia is to facilitate the adherence to a consensual framework on the country’s governance among political and civil society actors of different world views.
